The gite was simple but clean and had everything I needed. It was beautifully decorated, creating a lovely atmosphere. The hosts were kind and helpful. The on-site restaurant was an absolute gem. The food was delicious, the location by the lakeside was picturesque, and it was a great value for the price. I highly recommend making reservations as it gets packed every night for a reason. , the safari tent I stayed in was fantastic. It was set in a shady woodland area with plenty of space around.

With two children under the age of 16, we were delighted to discover that there is an onsite playroom filled with games and activities. The playroom was a lifesaver on a rainy day, keeping our little ones entertained for hours. It provided a safe and enjoyable space for them to have fun and make new friends. We also appreciated the proximity of the playroom to our accommodation, making it easy for us to keep an eye on our children while they played. It was definitely a highlight of our stay!

My wife says that the only thing she would have loved to see at Lac De Cancon is a larger outdoor play area for children. Although the onsite playroom was fantastic, she feels that having more outdoor space dedicated to play would have been great for our kids to burn off some energy in the fresh air.

We were disappointed to find that the pool was not open during our visit, despite it being peak holiday season. This was a letdown as we were looking forward to a refreshing swim.
